We are very pleased to have been part of a remarkable project for the Biltmore in Asheville, NC. Our customer, Green River Woods, recently completed a stunning restoration of the bar top at Cedric’s Tavern on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. The project involved rebuilding the historic bar using premium quartersawn/rift white oak that had been personally salvaged by them, milled, and dried over a two-year period.
We were proud to contribute to this restoration with our BR475 Quartersawn White Oak Bar Rail molding. This bar rail was chosen to match the Tavern’s original design elements, including intricate corbels and a non-standard rail profile. The installation required precise craftsmanship—from fabricating a three-piece mitered bar top and drink rail to trimming everything to fit seamlessly—all completed in just two days. The end result reflects the dedication and skill that went into preserving the original charm of this iconic space.

This project is a perfect example of how our hardwood bar parts help bring timeless spaces back to life. Whether you’re restoring a historic landmark or building a brand-new bar, our materials provide the quality and authenticity that true craftsmanship demands.
