Bar Top Kits
Main Bar Top Kits in poplar, oak, cherry, maple, mahogany, or walnut hardwood are perfect for the DIY bar top. Available in 4′, 6′, 8′ and 10’* lengths. You can combine kits to create a planked bar top of any length by simply alternating the joints.
Kits include tongue & groove planks:
- 2 @ (¾” x 5”) and 1 @ (¾” x 6”) for 16″ wide tops;
- a third 5″ wide board is added for 21″ tops**.
Installs easily over your plywood subtop 1 piece at a time with screws from underneath, gluing only the top edge of the joints. A bar clamp may be used to close any open seams while attaching the planks. Clean any excess glue with a damp cloth, sand and now you are ready to add your matching bar rail, glass rail, and drip edge moldings (sold separately).
Kits are shipped knocked down and ready to assemble.

I built a 12′ mahogany bar with a 4′ return. Clear polyurethane finish. I was amazed at the quality of the wood and ease of assembly. Great product and great service.

I went with walnut for the bar top and Chicago rail. Perfectly milled, with tight joints! It looked so good, I didn’t use any stain. Simply coated it with two coats of gloss followed by three coats of satin polyurethane and it looks perfect if I don’t say so myself!

I went with the mahogany top for my bar. It looked great right out of the packaging. I stained it cognac and cleared it with a semi-gloss. My bar is only 5’ but looks incredible. I will be back for my next project!!
