The Hardwoods Incorporated 1-3/8″ x 4-5/8” x 96” Chicago Bar Rail is milled from solid red oak hardwood right here in the USA. Our product features natural inclusions that give you the beautiful look that you want for your home or commercial bar.
Sold in pairs only (2 x 96″ sections). These bar rail moldings feature some small knots, tiny pin holes, color variations and surface checks all of which add to its charm but do not affect the structural integrity of the product.

This was our first bar, built inside our pool house. These rails look great. After staining I couldn’t see anything wrong that would make them clearance types. Plus I used the two 3/4″ oak stock sent with the rails to trim the inside of my 3/4″ plywood beer gutter.

These might be listed as clearance, but they are absolutely top notch in quality. The packaging was excellent and the rails arrived in pristine condition. Some light sanding and a coat of stain is all it took to add the wow factor to my basement diy bar. The video showing the proper way to make a miter cut on the rail was also very helpful for anyone like myself who never installed a bar rail before. Great product.

I used these rails for my basement bar. It was the first time I’d installed a bar rail but I really liked the professional look of them so I wanted to give it a try. I was a little hesitant buying the “character grade” but with the free shipping, it was hard to pass up. The rails arrived quickly and were packaged well. Yes, the rails had a few small knots in them but it did give it character (as the grade implied). The rails were easy to work with and I think the final look turned out great.
