15. Can or should the bar rail molding be pre-finished before installation?

Posted on:   |

No. We strongly suggest to cut, fit and install the bar rail moldings on the bar bar top then sand the bar rail molding (starting with 100 grit moving up through 180 grit) before staining and top coating. View our step-by-step instructions on how to finish your bar rail

17. Can your bar rails be installed on existing bar tops that do not have the double layer of plywood?

Yes. Please see the drawings below that show various options. However, we do not recommend 3/4″ bar tops made from 1 layer of wood as they can bend and warp over time from leaning on the bar rail. White Oak Bar Top Kits, BR475 Bar Rail & Radius Corners

A great product! Ordered cherry 475 Bar Rail, when I received the shipment it was in perfect condition. What I really liked about it, each piece of the bar rail had a slight crown which was perfect when clamping on the sub bar top in the middle the ends fit tightly and it was easy to get a great fitting joint. If that was designed like that, good job. Thanks for putting out a quality product.Ron S 2Ron S. – Brush, Colorado
